I am very happy to be apart of a community that shows so much love for one another. I met Aaron a while back at various snowboard venues and while he is no longer with us, his charismatic personality will always remain. This memorial run lap was the most fun time I have ever had on my snowboard as we mashed down Mt. Hood shredding with a gang of friends, friends of friends, and anybody who came to support. An emotionally charged speech by our good friend Brandon Cocard left the crowd heartfelt and after a moment of silence, the whole mountain shook with hoots and hollers as we slashed and and blasted methods a full two miles down to the bottom!
Some long time Mt. Hood locals riding the chairlift trying to get there in time mentioned they “have never seen a greater collaboration of people riding down the hill at once.” This run was for Aaron Robinson, and it should remind all of us how fortunate we are.
